Introduction 簡介
The mission of the Center is to promote Chinese written characters, traditional culture and the rich culture of Taiwan. The classes will focus on daily life conversation and practical useful conversation. Using the textbooks provided by the Overseas Community Affairs Council as well as its cultural teaching resources, the learning center will improve student understanding of the traditional customs and Taiwan excellent culture and also encourage community members from different backgrounds to value community diversity development and understand the similarities in each other’s culture. By learning Mandarin and appreciating the excellent culture of Taiwan, ethnic integration will be enhanced.
該中心成立宗旨在於推廣華語文正體字以及傳統與臺灣優質文化，課程注重生活化及實用口語會話，同時藉由僑委會提供的華語文教材及文化教學資源，增進學生瞭解傳統民俗及臺灣優質文化並鼓勵不同背景的社區人士共同珍視社區多元發展及瞭解彼此文化共通性，藉學習華語文及認知臺灣優質文化，增進族裔融合。
Courses 課程特色
Language Class: greeting, time, holidays, family, shopping etc.
Culture Class: calligraphy and painting, lantern painting, lion and dragon dance, night market food, Boba drinks, etc.
語文單元：如問好、時間、節慶、家庭、買東西等。
文化單元：書法國畫、彩繪燈籠、舞龍舞獅、夜市食物、波霸飲料等。
