Introduction 簡介
The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning－Confucius Chinese Language School offers classes to adults aged 18 and over. Festivals and cultural courses are essential parts of the curriculum. Textbooks used in the program are mainly "Let’s Learn Mandarin", "Speak Mandarin in Five Hundred Words", and "Speak Mandarin in One Thousand Words", compiled and printed by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), Republic of China (Taiwan), and supplemented with thematic lesson materials. The course curriculum focuses on Mandarin language skills necessary for daily life, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, typing, and application.
In response to the increasing demand for overseas Mandarin learning, we appreciate that the OCAC is willing to provide assistance and resources, which will increase the success rate of the launch of adult courses in our school. Over the years, our school has promoted various programs through careful planning and perfection. During the process of implementation, we also strive to make accurate adjustments in a timely manner. This new program will provide an innovative opportunity for Mandarin education in our school and assist in promoting Mandarin language and culture to the neighboring mainstream communities.
本中心開設成人班，節慶及文化課程為本校中文課之重要課程設計項目之一，並以中華民國僑務委員會編印之教材《來！學華語》、《五百字說華語》及《一千字說華語》等教材為主，主題教學之補充教材為輔，教授華語文之生活語言，含聽說讀寫、打字及運用。因應海外學習華語文需求日增，感佩僑委會願提供協助和資源，定能提高本校成立成人課程之成功率，因本校歷年來推動各項課程均以完善與審慎規劃後方始進行，並於實施過程中敏銳的適時調整方向，此案在本校定能開發另一華文教育的新契機，將華語文推廣至鄰近主流社區。
Courses 課程特色
In the course, we will use the teaching material prepared by OCAC, “Let's learn Mandarin”, which is rich in daily Mandarin language dialogues and vocabulary. We will also utilize multi-media learning tools on the Internet, such as virtual classrooms and games. Through this program, we hope to introduce Taiwan’s exceptional Mandarin language culture, characteristics, and spirit to our overseas friends.
這次的課程我們將使用由中華民國僑務委員會提供的教材《來！學華語》，其中包含豐富的自然對話以及日常生活中所需要的詞彙。另外，我們還會運用網路的一些程式，像是虛擬教室以及遊戲來幫助我們的教學。我們希望能將臺灣優質的華語文化及特色推廣給海外的朋友們。
