Introduction 簡介
The mission of the Overseas Community Affairs Council’s Taiwan Centre for Mandarin Learning global program is to promote the teaching of traditional characters, to provide a democratic and diverse learning environment for those who are interested in learning Mandarin in Ireland, to develop supplementary teaching materials with a focus on practical conversational skills according to the needs of students, and to allow the 2nd generation of Taiwanese immigrants in Ireland to better understand Taiwan's cultural and humanistic background. Our teaching philosophy is focused on language and culture as a supplementary application to stimulate learning motivation. Classes are held 3 hours per week (2 in-person, 1 online) to meet the needs of students who are in full-time employment or education.
爲配合僑務委員會之海外華語文學習深耕計畫以及推廣正體華語文教學，提供在愛爾蘭有興趣學習華語文課程的人一個民主、多元的學習環境，配合學生需求制定補充教材進行口語運用，和讓本地人以及臺灣子弟更加瞭解臺灣的文化和人文背景。教學理念以語言爲主和文化爲輔相互應用而刺激學習動機。每周上課時間為3個小時（實體2/網路1）來配合上班族的需求。
Courses 課程特色
Teaching materials at the TCML in Ireland are provided by the OCAC. Language learning is two hours per week, and the third hour is dedicated to a relaxing immersive cultural class during which students gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan's festivals, food, and local culture. Combined with the English Service Camp and related learning programs of the OCAC, Irish residents are encouraged to visit Taiwan to experience first-hand multiculturalism.
愛爾蘭臺灣華語文學習中心的教材以僑委會提供之自編教材教學（語言教學每週2個小時）。一個小時則爲輕鬆的沉浸式文化課是學員們對臺灣的節慶，美食和在地文化有更深入的瞭解。結合僑委會的英語服務營和相關學習方案，可鼓勵愛爾蘭的友人實地到臺灣接觸第一手的多元文化。
