Introduction 簡介
Chinese Learning Paradise is located in the South East area of England, only 1.5 hours by car and 55 minutes by high speed rail from central London. Established in 2019, CLP has expanded rapidly. During the COVID period, CLP successfully introduced online learning to all of our pupils. Through the smooth and successful transition while facing challenges, CLP has grown into an even stronger and better institute. After welcoming our pupils back to the classroom, we have continued to thrive by offering a wider range of learning activities and experiences, such as Taiwanese festivals, cultural experiences, and international pen pal programs.
Our campus is in Canterbury Academy, which is in the Canterbury city center. We enjoy learning and teaching with the latest modern technology in a well-equipped, state-of-the-art building. The classrooms are bright, airy and roomy. There are also ample parking facilities for easy access.
Being the only Mandarin school in Kent that provides traditional characters teaching and learning, we are very proud to be selected as the second “Taiwan Centre for Mandarin Learning” in the UK shortly after the London setup in 2022. CLP aims not only to teach the language but also to be a cultural hub where the West meets the East.
華園中文學校位於倫敦東南方開車一個半小時，搭火車55分鐘的肯特郡。華園自成立以來短短三年間，迅速拓展持續茁壯。新冠疫情間，成功轉型為線上課程，學生的華語學習未因疫情而延宕，更突顯華園教職團隊的靈活與多元職能。恢復實體課程後，更不斷融入語言文化、節慶、國際筆友等更豐富活潑教學題材，是一所教學不斷創新，豐富多元，充滿活力的中文學校。
華園位於交通便捷的文化古都坎特伯里市，市中心的坎特伯里大教堂是世界級的遺產，全年都吸引許多觀光客。坎特伯里同時有三所大學，多元文化氣息濃厚。教學場地為坎特伯里高中最新教學大樓，課室通風寬敞明亮、新穎，高科技教學設備一應俱全。校園規劃有大型停車場，方便自行駕車前來。
華園為肯特郡內唯一一所提供正體中文教學的學校，於2022繼倫敦後，在英國所成立的第二個臺灣華語文學習中心，宗旨除推廣華語語言與文化，並做為交流橋樑，促進文化認知，將臺灣人文向不同文化推展。
Courses 課程特色
Our Centre aims to provide Mandarin learning programs to adults over 18 years of age. We will start with beginner level in the first year. As the lessons progress, we will continue to provide intermediate and higher-level Mandarin courses.
We cordially invite institutions or companies to contact us for customized Mandarin courses.
Our current Mandarin courses are as follows:
2 hours face-to-face courses plus 1 hour online courses per week for 10 weeks, a total of 30 hours of learning per term. Two terms each year.
Taiwanese cultural activities and experiences, such as festival celebrations and traditional food-making workshops.
華園臺灣華語文學習中心旨在提供英國當地十八歲以上成人中文課程，中心成立之初由初級程度開班，逐年往上提高程度開設更多班別。我們也歡迎當地企業或公司接洽，為其提供量身訂作華語課程。
中心目前課程規劃如下：
每週兩小時課室實體課程及一小時線上課程；每期十週。每學期共三十小時學習時數。目前一年規劃兩學期。
文化交流體驗課程及活動，如節慶、美食等手做課程。

Take a train to either Canterbury East or West Train Station. Canterbury Academy campus can then be reached by walking or by bus.
Take A2 towards Canterbury. Follow A2050 towards Canterbury Academy.
搭乘火車至Canterbury East或Canterbury West站後，可轉搭公車或步行約15分鐘至學校
開車：沿A2開往Canterbury市區後轉入A2050至Canterbury Academy.
